Return + Exchange Policy

Everything at Occam is cut and made by hand in our London studio.
Our product images show garment colour and fit to the best of our abilities and slight variations can occur.
The images on our website are for illustrative purposes only and, although we have made every effort to display the colours accurately, we cannot guarantee that your device display will realistically reflect the colour of the products. 
Since each product is handmade, all sizes, weights, capacities, dimensions and measurements indicated on our website have a 5% tolerance.
Occam designs clothing for Sighthounds. Purchases made for other breeds are the buyer's responsibility. Since we cannot guarantee their suitability for other breeds, these cannot be refunded or exchanged.

First time and returning customer tips; 
• Please do not use a garment from a different company to base your dog’s measurements on. The Occam size chart is specific to our products and does not correlate to other brands’ sizing structure.
• It is advised that you take your sighthound’s measurements each time you order. Your dog may have changed since you last ordered from Occam.
• As we grow as a company so does our knowledge and with this so do our patterns. Whilst some garments may look identical to when we launched, small changes and improvements to the designs may have been made.

Returns + Exchanges
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase Occam will happily offer you a refund or exchange subject to the following.
Once you have communicated your return to us and you have the return shipping information, items should be posted within 5 days of communication and sent via a tracked delivery service. Customers are liable to pay return postage costs.
Occam cannot be responsible for returned items lost in transit. 
Your return should take a maximum of 14 days to reach us and be processed. During busy periods (such as holidays and sales), it can take a little longer to process returns.
Please remember that Occam is a small team with just one person responding to emails and processing all orders.

Refund Policy
Products for refund must be in their original, tagged, unworn, unwashed condition to qualify for a refund. 
Notification within 3 working days of receiving your order is required if you wish to claim a refund. Please email us to request a refund and we will send instructions on how and where to ship your item.
We will refund the cost of the item minus postage and packaging and a 2.9% handling fee (imposed by our online sales platform).

Exchange Policy
Products for exchange must be in their original, tagged, unworn, unwashed condition to qualify for exchange.
Notification within 3 working days of receiving your order is required if you wish to exchange an item. Please email us to request an exchange and we will send instructions on how and where to ship your item.
We can offer you an alternative size exchange in the exact same design. Should a different product be required, please place a new order and return the original order for a refund.

Re-usable Packaging
Our orders are packaged in a re-useable cotton bag and we use recyclable mailing sacks. We do not display the garment price on any labels, just fabric composition, washing instructions and size.

Shipping + Courier Services
Shipping costs are generated at checkout and dependent on location. We ship with Royal Mail, Parcel Force or DPD.

Import + Taxes
Any import duties, taxes & customs charges payable in the recipient’s country are solely the responsibility of the recipient. These charges will not be refunded should you choose to return your order for refund or exchange. Please contact your local customs office for further information regarding import fees.

Privacy Policy
We do not share any personal data collected with any outside agencies or organisations other than as necessary to complete your business transactions (which includes credit card processing or shipping address).
We retain account information such as name, email and postal address on our system to make your shopping and ordering experience faster and more convenient. Such information can be removed from our system by contacting us directly through our website.
